The Position
As a Technical Project Engineer, you will join the team and execute Life Cycle Management (LCM) projects on our production lines. The updates are performed to ensure future spare part availability, which enables us to continuously manufacture plastic components for our newest injection pens used by patients worldwide.
Our team works closely together with production, suppliers, supply chain and quality assurance (QA) team members.
Our operations span Denmark, Ireland, Czech Republic and Brazil featuring advanced automated equipment, including precision laser and vision systems, as well as industrial robots. 5-25% travelling is expected depending on the projects and your own motivation.

The main tasks will be to:- Act as technical project lead.
- Perform project planning, coordination, and execution.
- Write technical and validation documentation, drive and coordinate test activities, and take care of GMP documents.
- Ensure adherence to Novo Nordisk Project Execution Model (PEM).
- Collaborate across many functional areas and with people from different backgrounds.
Qualifications
To be considered for this position, you should have:- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical, electronics, production, automation engineering, or similar field.
- Knowledge of and/or experience with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) validation.
- Experience in production or operational roles is considered a plus and a technical background an advantage, e.g. skilled worker.
- Strong project management and communication skills.
- Fluency in written and spoken English.
It would be considered an advantage if you have knowledge of life cycle assessment for production equipment and experience with industrial robots, laser systems, and vision systems.
On a personal level, you have a proactive approach, and are good at stakeholder management. Being able to drive and execute projects, while staying eager to improve the next project is crucial in this role.

About the Department
Technical Operations is part of Global Contract Manufacturing Devices located in Hillerød. The team consist of highly skilled Process Engineers and Automation Technicians, each with their area of expertise and several years of experience in production and quality areas.We are responsible for a global fleet of industrial robots handling components, decoration lines engraving/printing on components to ensure patients get the right dose, and vision systems checking decoration to keep patients safe.
