Head of Quality

This role requires a strong, pragmatic, and solutions-oriented leader who thrives in fast-paced environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor the Quality Team, fostering a culture of compliance and continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards (EU GMP) as the Qualified Person (QP).
• Oversee internal/external audits, CAPA implementation, and quality assurance policies.
• Manage analytical testing, product release, and ensure timely regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with manufacturing to embed quality throughout production processes.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and product quality.
• Manage and optimize the Quality Management System (QMS), including document control and investigations.
• Oversee the department’s budget, identifying cost-saving opportunities.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Minimum 8 years of experience in Quality Assurance/Quality Control, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within the pharmaceutical industry.
• Qualified Person (QP) certification is preferred, with a strong understanding of pharmaceutical quality systems and EU GMP regulations.
• Proven leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and empower teams, fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment.
• Strong problem-solving abilities, with a pragmatic, solutions-driven approach to challenges.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships across departments.
• Demonstrated ability to balance professional and personal commitments, within a company that values work-life balance.
• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Biology, or a related field.
