The position
Your main tasks will include:
- Lead the department in NN way in order to meet targets by optimum planning and utilization of resources.
- Responsible for the operation of Formulation, wash and sterilization, including supporting production to release of products, as well as planning, coordinating, delegating, executing and following up on the agreed production plan with logistics and others.
- Responsible for making budget forecasts and that the approved budgets are held for the department.
- Ensure adherence to GMP, safety, environmental and other appropriate rules and regulations according to Novo Nordisk policies.
- Together with the rest of the management team, continuously develop an effective organisation, improvement culture and drive use of new technologies.
- Ensure that data created, received and kept in my area is complete, consistent, accurate, trustworthy and reliable, while deciding whether is acceptable for electronic data that I own to be copied or transferred to other IT systems. Also, ensure that data integrity risk assessments and data flow maps are established and maintained in my area.
Responsibilities include combining API's with other components such as excipients, binders and fillers while working in compliance with the required quality and safety guidelines, and performing standard operating procedures to meet current Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
Qualifications
To be successful in this position, you have:
- Master’s Degree within the field of work and/or proven strong practical experience within the area.
- Extensive management experience.
- Knowledge of regulatory and quality standards in the pharmaceutical industry related to GMP and medical production.
- Knowledge of filling process and equipment.
- Highly experienced in change management.
- Overview of economy and financial insight.
- Fluency in spoken and written English.
You naturally build trust with your stakeholders, and you like to drive and execute a variety of projects.
About the department
You will be part of Aseptic Manufacturing in Kalundborg having approximately 700 employees. We are a support department in an aseptic filling factory, having the responsibility for Formulation, Wash and sterilisation. The department has app 140 employees, and consist of operators, supports, technicians and leaders.We are a newer factory and are in an exciting phase where we continue to ramp up and at the same time work with stability and optimization. The factory works with the following processes: Environment, washing and sterilization, preparation, aseptic filling, freeze drying and inspection.
Finally, we use LEAN as a key lever for continuous improvement. We always aspire to operate through effective, solid, and transparent processes allowing each colleague to deliver on the promise, meet quality standards while having fun.
