The position
You will be part of integrating and bridging scientific ideation and innovation initiatives across Global Drug Development (GDD) and Research & Early development (R&ED) to strengthen and diversify Novo Nordisk early drug pipeline and leverage our global footprint in close collaboration with key stakeholders across GDD and R&ED.You will have full ownership of your end deliverables and the relationship to your stakeholders, but at the same time be able to spare with knowledgeable colleagues to secure progress.
You will report to Head of Scientific Integration and your key areas of responsibility will be to:
- Drive, facilitate and execute R&ED innovation or GDD Scientific Integration projects and initiatives
- Drive value generation analysis of innovation initiatives
- Guide scientists on maturation of ideas and spot new cross-organizational innovation opportunities for enrichment of our early pipeline
- Organise and facilitate scientific workshops and seminars
- Facilitate cross R&ED communication of Scientific integration activities e.g. newletters and digital solutions in collaboration with GDD & R&ED communication
The position requires the ability to collaborate and facilitate across multiple scientific disciplines and areas in R&ED and to guide and spot novel scientific opportunities for drug discovery.
Qualifications
To thrive and succeed in this position we would expect you to have:
- MSc degree supplemented with a Ph D or similar, preferably within Life Science.
- 3+ years of project management experience; leading cross-organisational projects.
- Experience in pharma, life science or biotech industry and/or a deep understanding of the R&D value chain.
- Demonstrated ability to drive processes and projects from idea to implementation.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Flair and experience with IT process management and communication tools like JIRA and Microsoft sharepoint, teams and white board.
- Proficiency in both spoken and written English is essential.
You work systematically, are eminent at motivating people around you, and manage to create structure and overview - even in the most complex projects.

Scientific Integration is part of Early Innovation, Outreach & Alliances and work to strengthen and diversify Novo Nordisk early drug pipeline by integrating and bridging scientific ideation and innovation initiatives across Research & Early development (R&ED) and therapy areas as well as external opportunities to internal ideation to maximize value and extract synergies, and foster scientific excellence.
