Postdoc of Gravitational Wave Physics - ref. y30791603
We are looking to hire 2-3 postdocs within Gravitational Wave Physics.
The Postdoctoral Fellowships in gravitational wave physics are available for expert researchers in the field with experience in theory and data analysis concerning black hole spectroscopy. Particularly, we are looking for candidates with experience in LIGO data analysis for ringdown, or ringdown in extensions of General Relativity, or with experience in the Newman-Penrose formalism, and perturbations of black hole horizons.
The postdoc’s duties will include research within gravitational wave physics, and the problem of motion in General Relativity. The post may also include performance of other duties, specifically student co-supervision and teaching.

The positions are open from 15th of August 2025 or as soon as possible thereafter. The positions are for a duration of two years with the possibility of extension.

Terms of employment
The average weekly working hours are 37 hours per week.
Salary, pension and other conditions of employment are set in accordance with the Agreement between the Ministry of Taxation and AC (Danish Confederation of Professional Associations) or other relevant organisation. Currently, the monthly salary starts at 38,700 DKK/approx.5,100 EUR (April 2025 level). Depending on qualifications, a supplement may be negotiated. The employer will pay an additional 18,07% to your pension fund.
