The Position
We’re hiring for three positions: Associate Manager Mechanical, Associate Manager E&I, and Associate Manager Automation. As a manager within our Project Engineering Teams, you'll be responsible for your team’s performance and wellbeing while they collaborate across disciplines led by Project Managers.Success in this role requires close collaboration with engineering teams, Project Managers, and alignment with Production, Quality, and Safety departments.
Key Responsibilities:
- You will manage a team of approx. 20-30 external project engineers working on complex projects focused on increasing capacity for our key products.
- Manage day-to-day activities and resources to ensure seamless project execution.
- Monitor project progress and workload, ensuring each project has the right engineering support.
- Ensure the team possesses both the technical and behavioural skills needed for success.
- Act as an engaged, hands-on leader, balancing immediate needs with long-term growth for each team member and the team as a whole.
Your will be expected to lead, inspire and develop your team, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment while maintaining high standards of quality and compliance.
Qualifications
To succeed in this position, you have:
- Technical or academic background in marine engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or a related field.
- Proven leadership experience, preferably within a manufacturing or technical environment.
- Experience working in GMP-focused environments, ideally within the pharmaceutical or other regulated industries.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to navigate effectively across organizational boundaries.
- Proficiency in English is required; Danish is a plus.
You have strong communication skills, a flexible attitude, and the ability to work across multiple stakeholders. Independent and proactive, you identify initiatives to support reliable project execution. With a high drive and team-oriented mindset, you motivate and engage others, leading effectively in a dynamic environment.
About the department
M1 PMO is responsible for the investment portfolio and execution of projects in the production facilities. The department is organized in a matrix with approximately 165 colleagues executing a diverse portfolio of projects in different phases.You will manage a team of external Technical Engineers. All responsible for designing and executing projects from the early idea phase to implementation in the factory, ensuring compliance with regulations within Qualification, Validation, ATEX, and CE.
