Accountant for a fast-growing international company

Are you looking for a meaningful accounting role in a dynamic and social work environment? We are currently looking for an Accountant to join our finance team at European Sperm Bank. This position is flexible between 30-37 hours per week.

Who We Are

Our mission is to help women and couples bring healthy children into an open and inclusive society. With support from a private equity fund, we have experienced strong growth and operate across several countries. We are headquartered in Copenhagen and have entities in Germany, the Netherlands, and the UK, which you will also support as part of our shared service center.

The Role

As our new Accountant, you will be part of a collaborative finance team where the energy is high, and the atmosphere is friendly and outgoing. You will work closely with colleagues across all departments and handle accounting tasks for multiple entities, giving you broad exposure and insight.

Your main responsibilities include:

• Managing accounts payable and receivable
• Bank reconciliations and general ledger postings
• Preparing monthly financial reporting
• Supporting external audits with relevant documentation
• Ensuring compliance with accounting policies and procedures

You will take part in a variety of tasks with a mix of recurring processes and opportunities to contribute to improvements and efficiencies.

About You

You are either newly graduated or have a few years of experience in accounting. You are detailoriented, structured, and enjoy being part of a team where collaboration and a good laugh go hand in hand.

Requirements:

• A degree in accounting, finance, or similar
• Experience with Excel and accounting systems
• Able to read Danish at a basic level (speaking not required)
• Fluent in English (our company language)
• Previous accounting experience is an advantage, but not a must
