Manager for the IT People & Communications team in Salling Group

Responsibilities
Your main responsibility will be People Management of the IT People & Communications team. This team is responsible for strengthening and establishing one streamlined HR system landscape that is future proof and efficient, catering to all business units and countries.The three pillars in our HR landscape are Recruitment Process, HR Master Data Platform and Workforce Management Solution. Along with our HR system landscape, we also provide Internal Communication Solutions across countries.
You will manage a high-performing team of 9 employees, continuously striving to deliver the best IT solutions and capabilities towards their business stakeholders. Some of the team’s strengths are humor, strong cooperation skills and a good working environment.Your day-to-day partners around the team will be the Solution Architect, Product Owner and Scrum Master.
You will join an IT & Digital organization with +275 employees based at the Salling Group Headquarters in Aarhus and be part of a management team for IT Development and Support. Building trust-based relationships with your team, Product Owner, Scrum Master and manager colleagues is crucial.Being a team player who strives to get the best out of colleagues is essential.
Primary Responsibilities- Set the direction for team working culture
- People management and development within the Salling Group framework
- Develop team capabilities to meet short and long term requirements
- Ensure a beneficial and efficient vendor relationship for selected vendors
- Build and maintain the support setup
- Be part of a management team that continuously strive to improve how we work and deliver IT solutions across all teams
- A proven performance track record
- People and team management experience is preferred
- Understanding of the agile framework Scrum and experience with delivering IT solutions
- Strong stakeholder management competencies
- Good facilitation and communication skills
- Relevant Bachelor/Master from business school or university
