Technical Project Manager - 9 Month Contract

We are on the lookout for a technical-minded Project Manager to join our team on a temporary basis here at Danske Bank.

With our Public Cloud transformation, we are not only migrating to Public Cloud but also looking into releasing footprint in our existing Data Centres. As Technical Project Manager, you will collaborate with the Data Centre team, IT Infrastructure Streams and Public Cloud teams to help deliver a full end-to-end storybook for all hardware migrating to Public Cloud or remaining on premise.

This will allow us to consolidate our existing Data Centres

About the Role
  • Collaborate closely with the Project Sponsor on project delivery
  • Support Data Centre & Public Cloud leads in tracking programme deliveries and managing risks
  • Facilitate and drive workshops within the team and across the organisation
  • Maintain a structured and detail-oriented approach to tasks, including updating and tracking project plans, and managing risks and issues
  • Engage in effective stakeholder management with a diverse range of stakeholders across the bank

About You

You should have experience working in a technical program/project environment. We also expect you to have:

  • Stakeholder management experience, presenting technical solutions to a non-technical audience
  • Technical and functional knowledge of IT services (Compute, Storage, Networks, Cloud)
  • Advanced time and project management skills to deliver against tight timelines
  • Ability to work well in a team environment and as an individual contributor
  • Must be located in Denmark
  • Solid understanding of project management practices, gained through experience in project management, PMO roles, or consulting
  • Technical understanding of the main IT streams and dependencies (Compute, Networks, Storage, Database)
  • Familiarity with cloud technologies and platforms is a plus
  • Design future solutions in collaboration with a team of skilled solution architects
  • Team player with effective communication skills and a self-driven attitude
  • Solid stakeholder management skills
  • Upper-Intermediate English skills required
  • Proficiency in the Office suite required; skills in MS Project, JIRA, and Tableau is beneficial

The position is based in Copenhagen, Denmark. This is a contract, with an expected duration of around 9+ months.
