The position
As Senior Manager, you will be managing one of the Device Project Management teams with 8-10 project managers and play a crucial role in maintaining and developing needed capabilities enabling us to deliver on the device development portfolio.
Some of your main responsibilities will include:
- Be accountable for project management within device projects, ensuring execution of strategic important projects for Novo Nordisk
- Be responsible for people processes and people development including ongoing feedback on performance and development tasks
- Ensure development of the project management processes creating an effective and standardised way of working
- Create clarity around project execution by engaging management stakeholders - internal as well as external
Qualifications
To be considered for this position, we expect you to have:
- A master’s degree in engineering or any other relevant field
- At least 3 years of people management experience and a track record for delivering impactful results
- Experience working with project management in a product development context
- Previous experience with product, device, or manufacturing development ideally from a regulated environment (preferably from medical devices, pharmaceutical industry)
- Professional proficiency in English

About the department
We are a part of Novo Nordisk Devices & Delivery Solutions, which is responsible for the development of medical devices for disease self-treatment within all business areas of Novo Nordisk A/S. The projects that we manage range from pure mechanical medical devices through combination products (drug/device) to devices with connectivity that are integrated into a digital health solution system.
We have a long and outstanding track record of developing the best, most innovative, and widely used injection devices in the world, and our projects are on the forefront of technology to meet real user needs for the benefit of people with different chronic diseases.
The department consists of Project Managers responsible for managing the device part of all the projects and we have a close collaboration with the engineering part of our organisation, with many important stakeholders across Novo Nordisk as well as external partners.
