Job description

As our new Senior Controller, you will become part of a solid team of finance specialists and accountants with a high degree of collaboration across the team and the organisation. You will have close sparring with your skilled colleagues and your immediate manager regarding complex business areas.

If you have the drive to take initiative, get things done timely, deliver high quality work and demonstrate a strong sense of responsibility, this position might be right for you.

Your main responsibility will be to perform the controlling tasks on core business areas, which include:

  • Controlling and reviewing core business areas
  • Preparation of monthly management reports and financial statements
  • Participation in budget and estimate processes
  • Preparation of annual reports
  • Close dialogue with internal stakeholders
  • Approval of outgoing payments
  • Reporting of VAT and taxes
  • Engaging in multiple projects
The importance of meeting your deadlines, taking ownership of tasks and valuing close dialogues with your team is central to the position and for the department in general. You will be based in our HQ in Fredericia along with a great team of 8 people.
The ideal candidate – professional skills
We imagine that you have an HD-R education or equivalent combined with at least 5-7 years of experience in a similar position or as an auditor. You possess strong excel skills and are experienced within ERP systems, preferably Navision. Knowledge of Business Intelligence tools is an advantage, preferably Targit.

You are fluent in both written and verbal Danish and English.

The ideal candidate – personal skills

You understand the importance of meeting deadlines and have a naturally curious attitude and are not afraid of challenging the status quo. As a person, you are independent and your preferred way of working is structured with a pragmatic approach to problem solving.

You will be able to take over tasks quite easily as you have a natural drive to move forward, focussing on quality in your work being a daily 'go-to-person' in the team.
