We are looking for a positive and resourceful person to join our team in the role of Account Manager where you will be part of a small but growing customer-focused international team.
As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining and growing relationships with our clients and new customers. You will act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing their needs, resolving issues, and identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling our products and services.
You will also need to develop internal relationships within our industry, as well as sales support and implementation teams, who will support you in identifying the best approach to the gaps that you identify with our customers.
This role will require strong organizational skills, industry knowledge in Workforce Management or Workforce Management in the Supply Chain, with the ability to work closely with customers and other colleagues.
Responsibilities:

In the Account Management role, your responsibilities will include:
- Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with assigned client accounts, acting as their main point of contact/ escalation.
- Upselling and Cross-selling: Identify opportunities and translate them into signed deals by upselling additional products or services based on client needs and usage patterns. This includes planning and organizing presales presentations
- Account Development: Develop comprehensive account strategies for our accounts in collaboration with the ORTEC industry leads.
- Issue Resolution: Address client concerns or issues promptly and effectively, ensuring a high level of satisfaction.
- Contract management: Generate contracts and statement of work documentation with the support of the internal operations teams.
- Reporting and Analysis: Prepare regular account reports and provide insights based on data analysis to help clients achieve their objectives.
Who are you
Qualification requirements:
- Education: Degree in a related field preferred.
- Experience: 2+ years of experience in technology, account management, or a client-facing role in the software or technology sector.
Location, right to work:
- The role is based around the ORTEC office in Copenhagen but with a hybrid work model, work-related travel will be required.
- Only persons already with the right to work in Denmark may apply, all other applications shall be automatically rejected.
- Some travel will be reasonably required to the Netherlands, UK and reasonably around Europe.
Skills:
- Danish-speaking and Swedish-speaking and English language to a Professional standard.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Negotiation skills.
- Good technical skills.
- Ability to manage multiple accounts and projects simultaneously.
- Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
