About the team:

We are seeking a new Head of Commercial Concepts & Tenders, to join our global team of consultants focused on identifying and implementing commercial opportunities to fulfil our Forward 28 strategy and drive fee income growth within Transaction Banking (TxB).

Our team covers a broad scope of responsibilities across Transaction Banking product areas, such as Cash Management, Working Capital, Trade Finance, and Investor Services. We support Business, Large Corporate & Institutional clients across the Nordics, UK/IE, and Poland

Your role:

As the Head of Commercial Concepts & Tenders, you will serve as a strategic partner to the TxB management team, ensuring the identification and agreement of the right commercial priorities. You will lead a team of 11 consultants, guiding and supporting them in implementing strategic priorities.

This role further involves orchestrating collaboration and ensuring alignment across multiple teams and units within the Danske Bank Group, given its broad span of interests and dependencies.

The team has delivery responsibility within four key areas:

Digital sale and engagement: Managing projects and activities aimed at engaging with customers in a scalable and relevant way through digital customer engagement channels, data leads and digital sales.

Content creation: Enabling efficient and professional sales processes by conceptualising, creating, and maintaining all TxB-related content for relational and digital advisory and sales. This includes various content channels, such as websites, sales materials, acquisition and Request for Proposal (RfP) processes.

Tender management: Ensuring high-quality and timely responses to Corporate and Institutional customers’ RfPs.

Development roadmap and Go-to-Market initiatives: Providing transparency on commercial development priorities and plans between Tribes and Business, and driving Go-to-Market strategies and implementation activities for new product and solution launches.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to influence and shape the development roadmap, operational frameworks, and collaborative processes across several departments, including Sales, Support, Product Development, Marketing, Communications, ComEx, and Legal.

Ideal candidate:

  • We are looking for a proactive leader with a strategic commercial mindset, great interpersonal skills and a customer-centric approach. In addition, you:
  • Possess a strategic commercial mindset with solid consultancy skills and experience in breaking down complex issues into clear strategies and concrete actionable steps.
  • Is well structured, with strong analytical skills and a holistic problem-solving approach.
  • Shows a high level of motivation and enjoys driving progress in complex areas.
  • Great stakeholder management skills.

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience in a leadership role, commercial development or consultancy.
  • Master’s degree in business, communication, or a related field.
  • Experience in the Financial Sector and familiarity with Transaction Banking solutions is preferred but not required.
  • Great communication skills (verbal and written) and proficiency in Excel.
