The position
We have an exciting new opportunity for a tech-savvy, data-driven candidate to join our Portfolio & Analysis department and drive optimisation of project and portfolio data analy-sis and visualisation. As a Business Analyst, you will help develop and implement digital solutions to optimise processes and data management within our project and portfolio processes.You will proactively identify best practices for visualising data and improve our data gathering/reporting processes using BI and Power Platform.
As a key role in the team, your main tasks will include:
- Identifying opportunities to optimise and develop data management and digitalise pro-cesses within our project and portfolio management area.
- Contributing to developing data structure and processes to ensure transparent project and portfolio overviews.
- Leveraging BI tools to extract and structure data from various sources, providing the basis to take informed decisions.
- Developing data visualisations and converting data into insights, comparing data across the project portfolio.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, we are looking for a candidate with the following qualifica-tions:
- Master’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or similar with 2-3 years of relevant experience in BI, Data Analytics, and/or Power Platform Devel-opment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage and present complex, high volumes of data from various sources.
- Proficiency in Alteryx/Tableau, Microsoft Power Platform, MS Office (Excel and PowerPoint), or equivalent BI tools, with experience in data management related to project portfolio management.
- Preferably experience with Planisware and/or other project management systems.
- Fluency in written and spoken English.
As a person, you are comfortable proactively taking initiative and have a strong personal drive and dedication with a ‘can-do’ attitude, while also being able to present data in an easy-to-understand manner. You are curious about the processes and people you work with and have a strong desire to learn new things, demonstrating attention to detail and a structured approach to problem-solving.
About the department
Development Product Portfolio (DPP) is a new area established to improve Novo Nordisk’s ability to prioritise and develop our pipeline with a keen focus on product potential, manu-facturability, scalability, as well as future capacity needs in close collaboration with Global Supply Chain.
You will join the Portfolio & Analysis department within DPP, which is a newly established and growing department with the key purpose to operate and develop our DPP project portfolio as well as project reporting processes, tools & templates.
