We are seeking a skilled and motivated Dev Ops Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Dev Ops Engineer at Ambu, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our development processes, ensuring the reliability and scalability of our systems, and driving automation across our infrastructure.
You will be part of the Dev Ops and Software Verification Team located in Ballerup. The team works in a very collaborative and agile environment, where open and honest discussion is an integral part of the way we solve complex problems. For new team members, we value the willingness to learn new skills and to grow, rather than already having detailed knowledge of everything.
Key responsibilities- Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines to streamline the software development lifecycle.
- Monitor and maintain the health, performance, and security of our infrastructure and applications.
- Automate repetitive tasks to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to system performance, security, and availability.
- Implement and manage infrastructure as code (Ia C) using tools such as Ansible, or similar.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve our Dev Ops processes.
- Support the documentation effort to comply with software medical device and cybersecurity standards.
Suggested candidate profile
Setting you up for success is one of our cornerstones. To do so, we imagine you have a university background within electronics or computer science or similar and broad experience in software development. As a person you are eager to learn new skills as well as share your knowledge.
Skills and experiences can be earned in many ways, and we understand that the best fit for the role cannot be prescribed on paper. You are however likely to succeed in this position if you have:
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Git Lab CI, Circle CI).
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash).
- Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Open Search).
- Knowledge of security best practices in a Dev Ops environment.
English is the working language, fluency in both spoken and written English is required.
