Experienced Global IT Operations Manager

The Position
Novo Holdings and the Novo Nordisk Foundation maintain a strong focus on continued professionalisation and expansion across global locations. With this position in the Corporate IT Team, we aim to further enhance operational excellence and elevate global IT service.
You will join the IT team based in Tuborg Havn and drive the ongoing development of our global IT services. Our IT team comprises four sub-teams: IT Projects, IT Architecture, Cyber Security, and IT Operations. We collaborate closely with outsourcing partners and external specialists in all these fields.
As part of the IT team, you will be responsible for optimising and professionalising our global IT service. You will drive automation and standardisation of the global IT processes and offerings, while managing stakeholders and vendors. Your role will be instrumental in advancing our digital and global transformation, scaling for the future, and amplifying our overall impact.
In this role, key responsibilities will include:
- Manage global IT service processes and lead optimisation efforts
- Standardise, digitalise, and automate both IT and cross-functional processes and workflows
- Manage the global supplier ecosystem and IT service integration
- Define and apply a standardised framework for global IT services, facilitating scalable growth for our organisations
- Drive global IT operational improvement initiatives
Additionally, you will spearhead the IT professionalisation and enterprise agenda, setting new standards for the shared IT services provided to our six organisations with various needs and requirements. Currently, we support the following organisations: The Novo Nordisk Foundation, Novo Holdings, Quantum Foundry Copenhagen, Danish Centre for AI Innovation, NNF Cellerator and NIVI-Development.

Qualifications and experience:
- Extensive experience with IT operations standards, best practices and methodologies (e.g., ITIL)
- Significant experience working with IT processes and automated workflows
- Experience with relevant software products and platforms, e.g., ServiceNow
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage with a diverse range of stakeholders across functions
- Experience from an international organisation and an outsourced IT environment

You have been described as having high and positive energy, consistently willing to roll up your sleeves to get the job done.
