Financial Controller for International Company
For a newly created position at Baltic Control Group, we are looking for a financial controller. You will play a central role in the finance department, responsible for building group reporting and developing business controlling together with the CFO and Group Finance Manager, both of whom are newly appointed.
This is a unique opportunity to help build new reporting and controlling models from scratch in an international group with a high degree of complexity, where the finance department is intended to play a crucial role.
Key Responsibilities:
You will be primarily responsible for the monthly reporting process to the foreign group reporting function, connecting financial processes within the Baltic group in close collaboration with local finance functions in Poland, India, the USA, and Denmark.You thrive on driving group reporting with a focus on quality and creating a basis for controlling and analysis.
- Monthly closing, consolidation, and reporting, as well as work related to the annual closing.
- Participation in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
- Liquidity reporting and forecasting.
- Development and execution of business-critical internal controls that ensure accounting quality and minimize the risk of errors.
- Preparation, issuance, and development of the group’s financial reports – e.g., cost reporting and similar.
- Development and implementation of control and risk management systems across the group.
- Close contact with and execution of reporting tasks for our French parent company.
Profile:
We imagine you have a relevant education such as cand.merc.aud. or HD-R, and maybe experience from the auditing industry, where you have worked with companies in accounting class B and C as well as foreign companies, or alternatively from an international company with foreign subsidiaries.
- Good insight into annual reporting principles and financial reporting.
- Ability to communicate data and insights through communication and reports.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate numbers and analyses into business insights.
- Experience with consolidation.
- Good communication skills in Danish and English, with the ability to effectively collaborate with colleagues.
