About the role
Join our dynamic team as a Site HSE Manager and lead the way in implementing world-class safety standards (WCS). We are looking for a dedicated professional to ensure the highest levels of safety and compliance on our construction sites, working closely with a supportive and experienced HSE team that values collaboration and continuous improvement.As a team, we are working on improving the health and safety environments at our site and eliminate all unsafe work.
Your role will be key in being responsible for critical incident investigations, deployment of WCS to ensure compliance with relevant regulations, codes governing environmental, health and safety as well as industry standards. As such, you’ll be responsible for addressing HSE issues whenever onsite work is scheduled.

How you might spend your days
As Site HSE Manager, you’ll:
- Drive the implementation of World Class Safety (WCS) initiatives in collaboration with line manager, customers, and (NNE) site HSE leads
- Lead serious incident and investigations, ensuring alternative actions are agreed upon and executed
- Oversee the execution of the Site-Specific Safety Plan (SSSP) and ensure contractor compliance
- Monitor and report on SSSP objectives to the Construction Manager and Site HSE Management
- Compile and maintain construction project incident records and statistics in an appropriate format for review by management at any time and for inclusion in project reports
- Direct immediate correction of any unsafe or unhealthy conditions, with the authority to stop work, if necessary, until appropriate corrective measures have been taken
- Continuously improve safety standards, HSE guidelines, manuals, and best practice

The miles you’ve walked
In all positions there are some things that are needed, and others a bonus. We believe these qualifications are needed for you to do well in this role:
- You hold a relevant degree within engineering, and preferable a formal education in leadership, e.g., MBA or PRINCE2/PMP
- Formal education within incident investigation (e.g., Tap Root, Top Set e.c.)
- Relevant site HSE experience as HSE in construction
- IT software relevant user experience (e.g. Dalux, Microsoft, Share Point, Permit Vision)
- Mandatory “Danish Arbejdsmiljø uddannelse” / AMK-P/B 5days course is appreciated
- ISO 9001, 14001 & 45001 certificate appreciated
- You speak and write English. Danish speaking and writing are considered an advantage
