The Vestas Northern Central Europe business unit is responsible for the Sales, Project, Installation and Service of wind farms throughout the NCE region.The Main Component Exchange department is part of the Special projects team and is responsible for safely planning and executing offshore scopes across the NCE region. The role as Technical Project Manager acts as a technical specialist focused on supporting the Project Managers and the rest of the team in the projects, in accordance with all relevant standards, and attaining high HSE results.
Responsibilities- Act as an advisor on technical/product matters towards the whole team and towards other Vestas departments
- Proactively accompanying the project managers end-to-end in the projects with issues related to technical questions, tools, equipment and continuous improvements
- Help and guide the technical documentation in the projects and support on quality control of the documentation
- Run internal projects such as new tool setups or updates
- Build and maintain relations with a large range of internal and external stakeholders
- Qualifications
To succeed in this role, we believe that you bring the following experience:
- Engineering or Business degree combined with relevant project management training
- Technical background with wind turbine experience and good product knowledge
- Previous experience as Project Manager in technically complex projects
- Contractual and commercial acumen
- Fluent in English
- Good knowledge of MS Office, experience in SAP is a merit

Additional information
The primary work location is Aarhus, Denmark but could also be located remote or in another office in the Vestas NCE region. The role requires approximately 40 days of travel per year.Applications are handled on an ongoing basis.
