The position
As a Security System Specialist at Novo Nordisk, you will take on a key role as the subject matter expert for our Physical Access Control System. You will also support other systems within physical security to ensure stable IT operations and IT development, while also serving as an expert on a range of IT systems.
You can look forward to a dynamic IT project-oriented community, working in an international environment with colleagues from all over the world supporting all our sites based in Denmark. In this capacity, you will work closely with our IT system management teams in India and Denmark, fostering a partnership to oversee daily operations and provide technical expertise and consultation.
In addition to partnering with the IT system management team, your responsibilities will include:
- Supervising the installation, configuration, maintenance and development of various Gx P and non-Gx P IT systems
- Providing subject matter expert guidance, insight, and advisory on our IT systems
- Collaborating with stakeholders and vendors to explore and integrate new technologies
- Proactively enhancing and streamlining IT processes internally and across departmental teams
- Ensuring adherence to best practice IT standards and data integrity through compliance with Novo Nordisk procedures and external guidelines
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications:
- A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in a relevant IT or systems engineering field.
- Minimum of 3+ years of proven track record in IT Operations, including hands-on experience with IT infrastructure and architecture while adhering to Gx P guidelines and regulations.
- Experience with project management, design and implementation is advantageous
- Familiarity with Physical Access Control Systems is advantageous
- The ability to analyse and interpret technical data, such as system performance metrics, network traffic patterns, or software behavior, to identify trends, patterns, and potential issues.
- Experience with organizing, storing, and maintaining data, including data modeling, database management, data governance, and ensuring data quality and security, while enabling utilization of technologies for effective data handling.

In Corporate Facilities we are 350 employees, and we enable Novo Nordisk to focus on the core business by delivering simple and agile solutions for infrastructure, workplaces, utilities, and facility services as well as a major building portfolio.We are highly dedicated and strive for operational excellence and set ambitious targets. You will work closely with both technicians, specialists, managers etc. and draw on resources from all over our organisation and will therefore get familiar with different teams and departments.
In our department, Digital Solutions & Alarm Response, we are 14-16 colleagues delivering and developing the IT solutions, equipment and infrastructure used across different areas mainly within physical security operations.
