Production Environmental Monitoring System – PEMS, provides Novo Nordisk with a cross-organisational IT system for environmental monitoring data management. The job as a PEMS Business Analyst entails working closely with an agile team based primarily in India, but with the Product Owner and Product Architect based in Denmark.You will have responsibility for the delivery of world-class system improvements, and new functionalities, ensuring that they meet business requirements. You will also be involved in communication with the user community in Novo Nordisk, circulating around the implementation of PEMS.
Your main tasks would be to:
- Work closely with Product Owner in refining features and helping team in clarifying stories, defects and enablers, especially on Super User Communication, ensuring that users are always up-to-date in regards to new functionalities, new areas, and other relevant information
- Document user stories in Azure DevOps, converting ideas into practical actions supporting the users on the journey towards a paperless process by driving the changes of new functionality in accordance with business processes
- Support Labs Operations team in identifying bugs or features to be developed in PEMS, and Collaborate with Line of Business (LoB) on ongoing projects and clarification on change requests
- Support in deviations and problem investigations that include deep dive investigations into system functionalities, business processes, dialogue with software developers as well as Quality Advisors etc to identify impacted areas/functionality as well as communication to stakeholders
- Take part of System Releases in an Agile Setup, ensuring new functionality is in line with LoB requirements including update of relevant documentation such as requirements and user guides
As we work closely with our sites, in this role some local travel would be expected. With our CO2 strategy we do not expect much travel outside Denmark, but it may change in the future.
Skills we look for- Relevant educational background e.g. Laboratory Technician, Bachelor, Masters or equivalent in science, engineering or IT
- Relevant experience with PEMS system, preferably as an end user from laboratory or production
- Good communication skills both written and verbal in English and Danish
- You are service-minded, your structured way of working and general overview enables you to handle several tasks at a time and still keep an ongoing focus on results
- To succeed it is also crucial that you thrive on working independently as well as part of a team

You will join our LABS team - a part of Manufacturing IT in Global IT. In LABS you will be part of a highly engaged department working with IT systems for Product Supply, developing and improving systems which are core to the laboratory processes in Novo Nordisk.You will be participating in the operation, maintenance and development of a global GxP critical IT system. You will be working with a team of colleagues both in DK and India, and you will have ample opportunity for professional sparring and best practice exchanges in your daily work.
Furthermore, LABS is involved in projects with Product Supply, working closely together to ensure that business processes are adequately supported by IT systems as well as supporting Novo Nordisk on the QC 4.0 journey towards paperless labs.
