Global Mechanical Engineering Graduate
Are you ready to figure out where your expertise truly fits within a global setup? And do you want to join a 2-year Graduate Program tailored to your skills and interests? Then look no further!
As an R&D Graduate, you will go through three rotations of 8 months. The first one will be in our HQ in Ballerup, then you transfer to a department outside Denmark, and then you come back to HQ, but in a different department. We have departments in many parts of the world, like China, Malaysia, California, Australia, Spain and many more.
Joining our Graduate Program September 1st, 2025, you can look forward to a thorough onboarding that will introduce you to our organization and your fellow graduate batch.
With multiple subsidiaries across the globe, we are sure to find a role abroad that matches GN’s business needs as well as your skills and interests. Throughout, you will be assisted by managers, program sponsors, and a mentor as you navigate a steep and exiting learning curve.
The team you will be part of
Within our R&D organization, you will find colleagues of diverse backgrounds and nationalities. Our product portfolio spans the entire GN Group and ranges from hearing aids and headsets to video and gaming equipment. Moreover, you will become part of a network of 15 fellow graduates, working within Supply Chain Management, Finance, Marketing, IT, Software & Hardware Engineering.
Your contribution is appreciated, and you will:
- Work in an agile setup where you will collaborate closely with Mechanical Engineering colleagues developing the future hearing aids
- Collaborate across multiple teams in different functions such as Acoustical Engineering, Electronic Integration, Radio Systems and our production sites
- Work with tools like CREO, GOM Inspect, 3DXperience and many more
- Excel within Robust Design, Usability and Reliability Engineering and more
- Design plastic parts that are to the limit of the material’s performance. We make both physical and digital prototypes. All along we have fun doing so!
- Be part of the best Mechanical Engineering team in the world. We assist each other and always have time to support and guide you. Your opinion counts and you will take on responsibility for your part
To succeed in the role, we imagine that you:
- Have a Master's degree in Classic Mechanical Engineering, Design & Innovation or similar and maximum 1 year of full-time work experience
- Have international experience from internship, semester abroad, or volunteering. If something prevents you from having international experience (e.g. Covid), please specify
- Enjoy being part of a team and shares an interest for mechanical engineering, UX and robust design and many other disciplines
- Enjoy being creative and innovative as we are constantly trying to bring the best experience to the customers. You should also thrive with being in a constant learning environment

The recruitment process
After the application deadline, selected candidates will be invited for an online interview and abstract reasoning test. Those selected to continue the recruitment process will receive a personality assessment and be invited to the in-person Graduate Assessment Day, February 4th at our HQ in Ballerup.
