Senior mechanical engineer
Our cliente is recruiting several a Senior Mechanical Engineers for Dennmark to participate on the beggining of a new factory on industrial farmaceutic sector. key responsibilitiesLead the mechanical design for pharmaceutical construction projects, including HVAC, cleanroom systems, piping, and other critical systems.Ensure all mechanical designs comply with GMP, FDA, and other regulatory standards relevant to the pharmaceutical industry.Coordinate with architects, civil engineers, electrical engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate mechanical systems into overall facility designs.Develop detailed mechanical specifications, equipment lists, and system layouts using CAD and BIM software.Oversee and review contractor work during the construction phase to ensure adherence to design specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements.Perform risk assessments, impact analyses, and ensure that designs meet the strict cleanliness, air quality, and environmental control requirements for pharmaceutical facilities.Conduct commissioning, qualification, and validation (CQV) activities for mechanical systems.Lead troubleshooting efforts and root cause analysis to resolve mechanical issues during construction and startup phases.Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and project teams.Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources, ensuring successful project delivery within scope.Stay informed of industry best practices, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes affecting pharmaceutical facility design.skillsBachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.8+ years of experience in mechanical engineering, preferably in pharmaceutical construction or similar highly regulated industries.Strong knowledge of HVAC, cleanroom design, piping systems, and other mechanical systems used in pharmaceutical facilities.Proven experience with GMP, FDA, EMA, and other regulatory standards relevant to pharmaceutical production environments.Proficiency in CAD and BIM software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit) for mechanical system design.Experience with project management, including budget, schedule, and resource management.Excellent problem-solving skills and a keen attention to detail.Strong understanding of safety, environmental control, and cleanliness requirements specific to pharma facilities.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.
