The position
You will be part of “AM Brownfield Site Integration”, a newly established unit in Product Supply Aseptic Manufacturing (PS AM). The unit aims to maximize production capacities at acquired sites and integrate them into Novo Nordisk, aligning with the PS AM operating model.It is a fantastic opportunity to have a global impact at Novo Nordisk and enable us to serve even more patients worldwide.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Post Merger Integration: Integrate acquired production sites into Novo Nordisk by planning and executing activities towards a strategic AM site operating model, including interim models and ensuring Transitional Service (TSA) exit.
- Enable business case: In close collaboration with workstream owners and drivers, set up a global program to optimize production lines at acquired sites and thereby maximizing capacity for Novo Nordisk.
- Program planning & governance: Set up the program via workshops and stakeholder interactions. Facilitate ongoing planning, prioritize activities, communicate changes, and collaborate with the Program planner and Site Integration lead and teams, including training and onboarding.
- Change management: Ensure local and global engagement by conducting change management and apply change management principles in the program planning.
- Risk management: Identify and update program risks in relation to Enable Business case and Post Merger Integration.
- Monitoring, Reporting, and Communication: Establish monitoring systems to track progress and risks, report on program performance at various organizational levels, and provide input to AM Brownfield Site Integration communication for global engagement.
This means you will need to maintain a flexible mindset regarding the above responsibilities. As the organization grows, some responsibilities may be adjusted or shared with colleagues to balance the workload.
In this role, you can expect 25-30 days per year of global travels.
Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you have:
- An Academic degree in business management, strategy, or pharma related subject combined with at least 10 years of experience in Project / Program management.
- A knowledge and insights from a pharmaceutical production site.
- A good diagnostic, analytical and problem-solving skills as well as the ability to think strategically and translate business strategies into tangible actions.
- Ability to work in different cultures that will allow you to become an ambassador for Novo Nordisk values.
- Professional proficiency in verbal and written English.

About the department
The AM Brownfield department at Novo Nordisk is responsible for integrating newly acquired sites into our organization. It is a part of Product Supply Aseptic Manufacturing (PS AM), which is the largest unit in Product Supply and supplies products for all therapeutic areas in Novo Nordisk.
PS AM is the largest unit in Product Supply, and we are responsible for all aseptic manufacturing in Novo Nordisk. We are more than 12,300 people working in five different countries (Brazil, China, Denmark, France and USA) operating seven factories/sites.
