At LEGO House, we celebrate our guests’ passion for the LEGO brick. You will be a core member of one of our three product teams within the Experience organization, committed to ensuring every aspect of the guest experience is of the highest quality.
As part of a team focused on enhancing guest experiences within LEGO House — from Robo Lab to Build the Change and beyond — you’ll work alongside our internal team members and external partners. Together, you’ll design and develop memorable guest experiences at LEGO House.

Guest experiences with a holistic perspective
As an Experience Designer, you’ll have the opportunity to create new experiences and enhance existing ones within your designated area of LEGO House. Working closely with key internal stakeholders, you’ll address spatial challenges, identify areas for improvement, and develop new play areas both inside and outside LEGO House.You will also support various design tasks as needed.

In summary, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Developing Creative Experience Concepts: Bring ideas to life through sketches, digital renderings, and physical prototypes.
- Collaborating on Spatial Design Challenges: Work with internal teams to address spatial flow and functionality, enhancing accessibility, engagement, and user satisfaction.
- Aligning Vision and Execution: Partner closely with four internal colleagues and external collaborators to bring LEGO House experiences to fruition.
- Engaging with Internal Stakeholders: Understand guest needs, respond to feedback, and iterate on designs to ensure a high-quality, cohesive experience.
- Regularly Assessing and Innovating Offerings: Continuously refine and refresh LEGO House experiences to keep them exciting and relevant, making improvements that heighten guest engagement.
- Prioritizing Inclusive, Playful, User-Driven Design: Ensure that the LEGO House experience appeals to and brings joy to all visitors.
- Supporting Broader Design Needs: Assist with various design-related tasks as needed, showing flexibility and contributing to different needs within the LEGO House Experience department.
- Aligning with the LEGO Brand: Ensure all designs reflect the brand's spirit, inspiring wonder, creativity, and hands-on learning in the LEGO Universe.
In essence, you’ll bring both innovation and quality to creating spaces that are immersive, playful, and meaningful for LEGO fans. The role requires a blend of creativity, spatial awareness, collaborative skills, and a deep understanding of guest-centered design.
Collaborative team member
You possess a creative mindset paired with a playful approach to problem-solving. Your expertise in navigating the complexities of stakeholder management is complemented by a genuine curiosity and enthusiasm for discovering innovative solutions in project work.You are someone who can Identify an area of improvement, conceptualize ideas, and build solutions. Someone who believes in continuous improvement by learning from users.
As a collaborative team member, you confidently engage in constructive discussions, foster cooperation, and actively support the team’s Diversity and Inclusion initiatives.
Additionally, you have:
- Experience in space design, retail design, play design, or similar
- Experience in working with user-driven design
- A background within Industrial design, architecture, Play design, or similar
- Documented history with user-centric experiences
- Proven experience working with inclusive experiences is beneficial
- Experience in product-driven design is advantageous.
