Your role as a Scrum Master will primarily be as member of the IT Sales team, helping the team deliver an ambitious roadmap of system and process improvements across Denmark, Germany and Poland as well as across the formats – Bilka, føtex, Netto, Salling, BR, Carl’s Jr.

and Starbucks - in Salling Group. This in close collaboration with the formats, country representatives and external vendors.

We expect that you will be part of the product group and act as both Scrum Master and Process Consultant. The role as Process Consultant implies developing and optimizing business solutions, act as Business Analyst and identifying business needs.

As a Scrum Master and Process Consultant in Salling Group IT, you will experience:

Being engaged in change initiatives across IT, in the role as a champion for new ways of working with processes, people and tools
  • Your tasks and responsibilities
  • You will act as Scrum Master and facilitate the sprintly meetings such as; Sprint Planning, Review and Retrospective as well as Daily standups
  • Responsible for adopting and developing how we work with Scrum in the Sales team
  • You will have a close collaboration with all our formats incl. Netto, Bilka, føtex, & Netto in Poland & Germany and Salling
Your involvement as Process Consultant can be in relation to the identification of needs and/or development of solutions. Your exact tasks depend on your skills and interests and will most likely also vary over a year
  • The team

You will be a part of our IT Sales team. The team is responsible for the entire life cycle – identifying business needs, development of new initiatives and supporting existing initiatives. The IT Sales team enables order placement, sales registration, payment, returns and customer service solutions for the entire Salling Group.

You have a pragmatic approach to adopting and developing how we work with Scrum in our context, and in promoting the Agile mindset. You thrive being an informal and flexible leader, knowing when to lead and when to serve, at all organizational levels, being curious and proactive towards your colleagues.

You have a business-oriented mindset, and thrive being both Scrum Master and process consultant. You think IT and retail is fun, and you are excited about how IT can enable. You might have user or technical experience, but what is essential is your capacity to learn and develop.

Your approach to tasks is structured with a keen eye on detail and quality. You like change and thrive in a dynamic environment. You strive to improve, are result oriented and work well within a team. Analytical mindset and a master’s degree will be an advantage.

Besides of that, you are having, or obtaining, a knowledge of the principals of software development, and how your team supports the Sales functions. We also expect that you have a relevant degree in IT and have more than 2 years of experience working as a Scrum Master.

It is preferred, but not required, that you have Scrum Master certifications.
