The Position
In this role, you will lead a team of 12 dedicated employees with various backgrounds in facility management and Environmental, Health and Safety. You will be overseeing facility services such as building maintenance, construction projects, canteen operations, security, cleaning, gowning, compliance, and pest control within a GMP-regulated production environment.
Furthermore, you and the team will be leading the EHS agenda on the site, where the team will be leading EHS projects like waste handling, energy reduction, a healthy and safe work environment and processes. In other words, you are expected to be visible and create followship to the Circular4Zero and EHS agenda.
You will lead and coach the team in succeeding with day-to-day tasks as well as setting the long-term strategic direction in close collaboration with your stakeholders.
The main tasks will be to:
- Develop, maintain and execute Facility and EHS strategies.
- Ensure compliance and team readiness for audits.
- Foster a quality mindset and promote continuous improvements.
- Regularly confirm and improve Facility & EHS processes.
- Co-create a zero-accident workplace with a focus on safety, problem solving, and training.
- Comply with fire and construction safety requirements.
- Ensure timely execution of Environment, Health & Safety Management Reviews (EMR & HSMR).
- Use Business intelligence tools for data transparency and performance management.
- Act as a strategic partner to management for support.
Qualifications
To succeed in this position, you should have:
- a relevant educational background (Could be a bachelor’s degree or similar)
- 3+ years of proven leadership experience, combined with a leadership toolbox
- thrive on setting clear direction while developing your employees by having strategic and operational mindset
- passion for and understanding of facility management and EHS
- are fluent in English and Danish, both written and verbal
You have excellent implementation skills, and in your mind no assignment is too big or too small for you to take on. Your dedication and professional approach, combined with a constructive, proactive mindset, make you thrive in a challenging, fast-paced environment with ambitious and dedicated colleagues.
You are well-organized, independent and have a flexible but firm approach.
