Job Summary
K3 are looking for a qualified accountant to join as a Finance Manager for our Retail Solutions business vertical, located in Denmark. The successful candidate will be responsible for our Danish trading entity and German subsidiary. The role holder will need a high level of technical accounting knowledge and an excellent understanding of the Danish Financial Statements Act, and other local legislative reporting requirements.
Requirements- Production of monthly management reporting to K3 Group
- Written performance commentary with comparison to budget and forecast
- Attendance at group finance reviews
- Completion of monthly cash flow forecasting
- Maintain detailed balance sheet reconciliations
- Control sales order processing, and stock management in partnership with hardware delivery
- Supervise customer contract database maintenance
- Reinforce best practice purchase ledger processing
- Implement structured credit control processes and support escalations within the team
- Liaise with external accountants for German legislative reporting
- Reconciliation of German reporting by external accountants to internal reporting to K3 Group
- Management of banking system
- Processing of payroll journals and payments, including taxes
- VAT submissions and payments
- Production of annual budgets and quarterly forecasting for the business vertical
- Consolidated reporting for the business vertical
- Staff management
- Continuous process improvement
- Key liaison for annual audit
- Work with Managing Director and Retail Solutions Management Team to provide operational financial support, reporting and guidance where required
- Qualified accountant
- High level of technical accounting knowledge
- Confident managing own and team workloads to meet deadlines
- Comfortable presenting, challenging and analysing financial data
- Excellent understanding of intercompany accounting and consolidation
