If so, you might be the perfect fit for our open position as an IT Project Manager in the DD&IT M&A Corporate Assets team.
Behind the title
As the IT Project Manager DD&IT M&A Corporate Assets team your responsibilities span from DD&IT Due Diligence (DD), by supporting the Senior Project Manager in defining the IT integration strategy and target operating model for the acquired target, facilitating go-live from Day 1 through Day 100, and the subsequent handover to the DD&IT M&A Post Merger Integration team or Line of Business.
Your responsibilities will be to:
- Leading or drive projects within the M&A space, either in the Due Diligence and or the integration phase
- Managing small to mid-size projects containing some complexity
- Taking the agreed integration strategy (operating model) and building an actionable plan, driving the IT sub stream towards timely execution of the plan
- Identifying, tracking, and documenting risks during the IT Due Diligence and Integration projects, as well as reporting and escalating in a timely manner
- Managing project budget and timelines to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
- Being responsible for own deliverables, while also working closely with other roles in the team and across the organization
- Developing and maintaining relationships with relevant stakeholders across DD&IT to ensure successful project execution
- Leads and directs Subject Matter Experts in a matrix organization.
What we scout for
We are seeking a candidate who ideally meets the majority of the following qualifications:
- A Master’s degree in Business, IT, or another relevant field
- 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager, preferably in large complex organizations
- Previous exposure to M&A would be beneficial, although not mandatory
- Deep knowledge of traditional Project Management methodology, as well as Agile ways of working
Success in this role requires excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build credibility and engage stakeholders at all levels.
