Senior Global Mobility Specialist

Job content, responsibilities, and possibilities
Based in our office in Aarhus, Copenhagen, Hamburg, or London you will be anchored in our People & Development team but work closely with our Legal, Proposals & Risk Management team and will have interfaces with the rest of the Corporate Business Area.Your responsibilities will include:
International Relocation Management:
- Ensure that expatriated employees and their families are adequately supported, focusing on employee satisfaction and well-being. Serving as a point of contact for employees during the relocation process, offering guidance and assistance, by providing pre-departure and post-arrival support
- Act as a subject matter expert for assignees on all global mobility-related inquiries and issues.
- Coordinate and manage employee relocation processes with external vendors (e.g., relocation agents, and tax advisors) to ensure smooth transfer.
- Manage the financial aspects of relocations such as allowances, reimbursement of expenses, and cost estimates for assignments.
- Standardize processes across regions and implement best practices for efficient mobility operations.
Immigration and Visa Compliance:
- Oversee and advise on work visa, work permit, and residency requirements in-house or coordinate with external consultants.
Tax and Legal Compliance:
- Manage global tax implications of employee transfers, working with tax advisors to ensure compliance with local and international tax laws and social security agreements.
- Monitor and maintain compliance with employment laws and regulatory frameworks in different jurisdictions.
Policy Development and Implementation:
- Design, update, and enforce global mobility policies aligned with the company's compensation, benefits, and talent strategies.
- Ensure alignment of mobility programs with overall business strategies and talent management goals.
Risk Management:
- Identify and mitigate risks related to tax, legal, and compliance issues in global employee mobility.
- Ensure expatriates are covered by adequate health and safety policies during international assignments.
- Stay informed on geopolitical issues that could impact the company's global mobility operations.
Market Entry:
- Assessment and execution of complex employment setups incl. EOR solutions.
- Development and maintenance of employment contract templates globally.
- Acting as subject matter experts on employment-related matters.
Having experience working with third-party service providers such as relocation agencies, tax consultants, and immigration experts is a clear advantage.
