Then join our Corporate IT team as our new Senior IT Project and Engagement Manager and help us drive a broad portfolio of projects that support digitalisation, internationalisation, and organisational growth.
The position
As our new Senior IT Project and Engagement Manager, you will get a unique opportunity to work with senior stakeholders in a complex organisational landscape representing a variety of different companies and business needs as Corporate IT provides IT services and solutions to the Novo Nordisk Foundation, Novo Holdings, and its subsidiaries with a total of +500 global employees.
Besides managing your own portfolio of projects, you will drive conceptualisation of initiatives that sup-port the IT strategy and scalability of IT services across the organisations. You will drive projects that span across various business and IT domains, such as digital workplace, automation, service management, cyber security, and cloud migration.But most importantly, you will be pivotal in ensuring that everything we do is closely aligned with our strategy, foster synergies across our digital teams, and excel in ensuring that our organisations gain value and benefits from existing and new IT technologies.
You will become part of a team of 18 IT professionals working closely together to ensure that IT is continuously supporting the business needs and strategic goals in a dynamic and fast-paced environment of growing organisations. This is done in close collaboration with key stakeholders across the organisations and multiple technology vendors.
The role
You will be referring to and aligning priorities with our Senior IT Project Lead. However, you will be re-sponsible for your own projects and change management activities, where you will manage all aspects from scoping and defining deliverables to overseeing and reporting on progress, outcome, adoption, and handover to operations.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Lead IT projects that support the IT strategy and scalability across the organisations, including identification and conceptualisation of opportunities that support business needs
- Drive stakeholder engagement across the organisations to ensure we address pain points and opportunities within the IT and digitalisation landscape
- Lead execution of project proposals and business cases for management decisions, ensuring clarity and alignment with organisational goals.
- Promote collaboration and foster synergies across IT, digital and data teams in Novo Holdings and Novo Nordisk Foundation.
- Lead organisational change management including driving conceptualisation of stakeholder en-gagement, communication, training etc.
- Lead standardisation and optimisation of IT services and processes across Novo Nordisk Foun-dation, Novo Holdings, and its subsidiaries to support organisational scalability
Your work is expected to be carried out within normal working hours and from the Headquarter of Novo Nordisk Foundation and Novo Holdings in Tuborg Havn to the extent possible. However, remote work is possible given prior notice. Global projects may require flexible working hours and may include limited international travel for direct engagement and project oversight.
Professional Qualifications
We are looking for a candidate with a relevant master’s degree and experience from a similar position. Moreover, to succeed in this role we imagine that you:
- Have at least 10 years of experience as project manager from management consulting or an in-ternal IT and business development function
- Communicate clearly at all levels of the organisation, from subject matter experts to senior management and are a confident presenter at town halls and training sessions
- Have extensive stakeholder and change management experience such as development of con-cepts to support adoption
- Are fluent in the Microsoft O365 package and familiar with various business productivity tools
- Are confident in managing multiple and diverse projects concurrently and can navigate an ex-tensive stakeholder landscape
- Are fluent in Danish and English (written and verbally)
