In your role as Salesforce Architect, you will become responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and optimization of ABENA’s Salesforce solutions that support business objectives. This role will serve as the primary point of contact for Salesforce initiatives.and you will work closely with stakeholders to ensure that the platform meets business needs and operational efficiency. The Salesforce Architect will join the Business Application Team in ABENA Data, which includes PIM (Product Information Management), DAM (Digital Asset Management), and a Salesforce team of developers, supporters, and admins.
You will enter our team at a very exciting moment in time where you are able to shape the foundation of a Salesforce solution on a global scale and as a system owner play a crucial part in implementing said solution in more than 20 countries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, development, and deployment of Salesforce solutions and ensure alignment with business goals and technical requirements
- Collaborate with business process owners and stakeholders to gather requirements, define project scope, and ensure successful project delivery
- Plan, organize, and oversee sprints with a team of developers and administrators
- Facilitate stand-ups and sprint reviews and ensure that development tasks are well-defined, prioritized, and completed on schedule
- Oversee the integration of Salesforce with other business systems and applications. Ensure seamless data flow and interoperability
The role as an architect can be flexible, and the scope can be further developed over time as there are several functions such as data and vendor management which you can later on become responsible for.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience with Salesforce. Preferably from a role as an Architect or a System Owner
- Proficiency in Salesforce (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Pardot, etc.), Salesforce Lightning, Apex, Visualforce, and related technologies
- Salesforce Administrator, Salesforce Platform App Builder, or other relevant certifications preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (Danish is an advantage)
- Ability to translate technical concepts into business terms
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills i.e. the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues.
Your success depends on your communication and your technical expertise
As the primary point of contact with internal Salesforce stakeholders, you will have to be comfortable in challenging claims, initiating a problem solving dialogue, and articulating technological capabilities within Salesforce to ensure realistic and manageable solutions.Communication and stakeholder management are therefore some of your most reliable skills.
Your team
The team consists of eight colleagues, three of whom are different kind of PIM/DAM specialists and five of whom are Salesforce specialists. The team refers to Senior Manager Business Application Maria Nedersee Torp.
Our everyday life is busy and deadlines often occur, but we also have an informal atmosphere where there is room for laughter – don’t be surprised if on a grey Monday you experience a Friday atmosphere at the office.

Our headquarters are in Aabenraa, but we also have offices in Kolding where you can work from when necessary. Traveling to subsidiaries in regards to launches and implementation is possible but optional.
