More about the position
As the Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for servicing Audiological Medical equipment at our customers’ premises in Jutland. You will provide customer service by performing calibrations & installations for customer owned equipment.
We imagine that you have technical education as electronics mechanic and are looking for a job where you are motivated by visiting customers & having a continuous dialog with them. It is important that you have an understanding of the 'backstage' processes in regard to planning and executing technical service activities.
Ideally, you have the ability to work independently and meet deadlines, but you are also a good team player. You are an open person and are able to build relationships. You will be working closely with our Hotline and Senior Field Service Technician who will take upon more complicated tasks.
The job requires moderate travelling across Denmark and sometimes rest of the Nordic countries. You should expect to have up to 15 nights a year away from home. There are a company car to this position, as the expectation is, that you will meet the customer in personal
About the team
You will be part of The Nordic Service team. The team is made up of 6 passionate people with a range of talents and backgrounds, located across the Nordics. A good fit for this role would be a person who can work from formal procedures and in an otherwise informal atmosphere.So, a good sense of humour is considered to be a qualification in itself. There are quarterly Nordic team meetings, where you will be able to not only discuss the business matters but also spend some time with your colleagues whom you will not be able to see on everyday basis.
Role Specifics & Responsibilities- Proactively reach out to customers in order to maintain and calibrate their equipment
- Install equipment for private and public customers (both hardware and software according to customer’s needs)
- Hotline function by e-mail and phone, i.e. helping solving customers’ challenges and answering questions
- Calibration of devices & technical support at customers’ premises
- Management of Denmark’s service requests and service charges in Siebel
- Follow the regulations of MDR & ISO standards (you will be introduced to it)
- Technical background, ideally with electronics(Medical Device)
- Experience from a similar role will be an advantage
- Knowledge of MDR & ISO standards for the Medical industry is a great advantage
- Fluency in Danish and English
- Ability to work independently and with teams
- We are looking for someone who is able to listen and observe, at the same time patiently explain technical solutions to non-technical customers
- Experience with Sales Force.com system
- B Driver’s license is required
