Senior PR & Communications Manager, LEGO House, Billund
Are you a creative and compelling communicator with a passion for promoting and enhancing the awareness of the LEGO House globally?
As Senior PR & Communications Manager you take the lead and ownership of LEGO House corporate communication, both external and internal. Together with our PR-agencies in Denmark, the UK, and Germany, you will work to tell compelling stories about LEGO House as the ultimate LEGO Experience for fans and the brand lighthouse of the LEGO Group.
Being a part of the LEGO House Brand, Marketing & Partnerships team, you will play a very central role in the whole organization and will work closely also with the LEGO House Managing Director and leadership team on everything from internal communication, all staff meetings, Q&As, interviews and press relations, taking ownership for the overall tone of communications.Furthermore, you will collaborate with stakeholders within the communications team in the LEGO Group to align the press strategy and communication priorities of LEGO House.

- Take the lead on public relations, including setting a clear direction for PR in the overall marketing strategy. Together with the Head of Brand, Marketing & Partnerships develop and implement communication & PR strategies to create awareness, inspire and engage our guests and fans on a world-wide scale.
- Actively promote PR moments for LEGO House identifying and leveraging key moments to build brand love and awareness. You will own and ensure a close collaboration with our PR agencies and the wider Marketing team to get the message covered in the right owned channels, and with the right earned media outlets
- Establish and maintain close collaboration and partnership with both LEGO Corporate Communications, LEGO Brand, and LEGOLAND communication teams ensuring alignment in communication and touch points to deliver relevant, credible, and impactful campaigns across media.
- Be the driving focus in setting the tone of voice for LEGO House externally to press, and internally within the LEGO Group defining, evolving and adapting the master messaging of LEGO House for relevant stakeholders and channels.
- Working collaboratively with PR agencies on crafting press materials, ensuring the LEGO Group tone of voice is consistent across LEGO House communications, alongside being the main contact for any media and press requests.
- Guide the LEGO House leadership team in tone of voice and guidelines for interview opportunities with press and external partners.
- Support LEGO House Managing Director in internal communication tasks including interviews, presentations, Q&As, all staff meetings etc.
- Proven work experience in Public Relations or communications roles and previous experience with generating impactful PR campaigns.
- Experience in agency steering, discussing costs and managing budget against targets.
- Experience in establishing and maintaining (media) relationships.
- Experience in stakeholder management across multiple touchpoints both internally and externally of an organization.
- High understanding of global press, social media, and influencer landscape.
- Experience with purpose communications. Experience with crisis communication would be advantageous.
- Enhanced verbal & written communication skills and proficient in English writing (Danish proficiency is desirable).
- Ideally experienced with Fan-centric brands
- 6 times per year, you will take small trips to see your London counterparts or go on team offsites.
