Global IT Operations Manager

Novo Holdings and the Novo Nordisk Foundation maintain a strong focus on continued professionalisation and expansion across global locations. With this position in the Corporate IT Team, we aim to further enhance operational excellence and elevate global IT service.
You will become a part of the IT team based in Tuborg Havn, encompassing IT Projects, IT Architecture, Cyber Security, and IT Operations. As part of the IT Operations team, you will collaborate closely with our outsourcing partner and other external specialists.
You will be responsible for driving continuous improvement of the IT services offered to our colleagues in six growing organisations: The Novo Nordisk Foundation, Novo Holdings, Quantum Foundry Copenhagen, Danish Centre for AI Innovation, NNF Cellerator, and NIVI-Development.
In this role, key responsibilities will include:
- Drive global IT improvement and optimisation initiatives
- Manage the IT budget, including financial reporting
- Manage global IT vendors and contracts
- Manage IT hardware and software assets
- Handle global IT sourcing and procurement
- Ensure a high-quality IT service experience
- Oversee external service and support teams, e.g., AV and meeting room support personnel
- Manage all IT office facilities, including meeting rooms, printers, etc.
- Develop and improve processes, guidelines, policies, communication material, etc., in IT
- Manage and handle feedback, escalations, new ideas, etc., from our colleagues
About You
You are well-versed in IT operations management and bring a strong technical acumen, along with experience from international, corporate environments. You are proactive and structured, and capable of prioritising multiple tasks to identify the optimal path forward.
Qualifications and experience:
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build good relationships
- Ability to communicate across all organisational levels
- Highly organised – with great attention to detail
- A flair for working with data and numbers
- Experience in managing global vendors
