The position
As the Director and Head of Launch Office, you will establish a Launch Office as a matrix organization, ensuring that product launches are executed efficiently and effectively. Your responsibilities will include:
- Establish and oversee the Launch Office and build the team using existing resources, identifying internal talent to join the project when and as needed
- Work as a matrix organization to ensure successful and timely product launches and business cases; setting launch dates and securing cross-functional commitment
- Develop followership and informal leadership within the team
- Ensure alignment of major decision points with the Executive Leadership Team and continuous reporting to the Executive Leadership Team
- Plan pathways for regulatory support and implement launch learnings across the pipeline

Qualifications
We realize that few people are experts at everything. But if you can nod your head at the following attributes, then you could be the person we are looking for:
- A relevant Master’s degree in pharmacy, project management, or a related field
- Several years of experience in managing product launches and leading teams, particularly in a matrix organization
- Proven leadership experience with strong organizational and project management skills, and a successful stakeholder management track record
- Experience in the pharmaceutical industry, with the ability to work on scientific, technical, and financial tasks, and a full value chain understanding
- Proficiency in English is mandatory

About the department
This is an exciting opportunity to join an international and ambitious Sales and Marketing organisation at Novo Nordisk Pharmatech located in Køge, Denmark. We are a very diverse area in terms of competencies and cultures, and we have a lot of fun on the way.Customer Support oversees order handling and ongoing customer interaction. Sales is accountable for account management and establishing us as a scientific partner. ComEx is taking lead on pricing, quotation management, sales excellence and sales of our Quats products that goes through partners.
New Product Marketing is developing innovation ideas together with R&D, and Strategic Marketing is developing commercial strategies including launches with regards to go-to-market strategies and sales enablement. Finally, we have a Business Development function working on partnerships in a broad context.
